The MS cross country team competed at Donovan Park today. It was the largest meet they have ran all year. The course was 2.03 miles in length and was a rolling hill type of course. There was very little flat area that they ran on. Below are their results:

The MS cross country team traveled to PORTA this morning for their invitational. The course was the hardest they have seen this year, with a challenging hill they had to climb 2 times. Even though the course was tougher than the one they ran on there last year, many beat their best times on the course. Jaina Butler missed getting a medal by only 2 places. Below are their places and times. Their next meet will be on September 18th at home at 4:00.

We are asking all of our Midwest Central baseball fans to please park at the middle school instead of at the ball fields for tomorrow's 10:00 AM baseball game. Parking will be very limited, as two additional teams will be playing at 12:00 PM, and we want to keep things running smoothly for all of the teams and fans coming to our facility.
Please feel free to drop people or chairs off at the ball fields, but after that, park at the middle school to help alleviate congestion.
We will have staff stationed at Centennial Park and at the entrance to the grass lot to help direct traffic, especially as lots fill up.
Your cooperation will go a long way in making things easier for everyone! Thank you for helping us out!

The Raiders baseball team pounded out 16 hits en route to a 9-4 win over Washington Beverly Manor to advance to Saturday’s regional semifinal!
Eli Tumilty continued his hot hitting, going 4 for 4 with an RBI. Jase Canada, Jaxton Bolen, Connor Coile, Aden Bell, Griffin Tudela and Sam Dierker all also collected 2 hits on the day, with Tudela adding 4 RBI and Bell chipping in 2.
Tudela picked up the win for the Raiders, tossing 4 and 2/3 innings while striking out 4 and scattering a walk and three hits! Canada also racked up 5 strikeouts in his 2+ innings of work.
The Raiders move on to face Washington Middle School on Saturday at 10:00 AM at home for a chance to play for the regional title. Come out and support the hometown team!

MCMS Raiders Softball defeated Olympia 3-2 in a pitcher’s duel on Monday, securing their first postseason win.
Raiders got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Kallie Herrman was hit by a pitch, Peyton Bernshausen walked, Peyton Collins laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring Kallie, and Olympia committed an error on a ball in play by Izzy Friedrich, scoring Peyton.
MCMS Raiders Softball added another run in the third after Libby Duwaldt singled, Sophia Holeman grounded out, advancing Libby, and Kallie laid down a sacrifice bunt to score her.
Sophia Holeman earned the win for MCMS Raiders Softball. The hurler surrendered five hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking two.
Libby went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead MCMS Raiders Softball in hits. Kallie and Peyton C each drove in one run for MCMS Raiders Softball. The team turned two double plays in the game.
MCMC Raiders Softball will take on Heyworth in the Regional Semifinal at Olympia this Thursday. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
