Midwest Central / Delavan 7th grade girls basketball finished their regular season strong Thursday night beating Peoria Christian 25-17. Cally lead the way with 10, Jaylyn added 9, Kenzie had 4 and Kara 2.
AND....
Midwest Central / Delavan 7th grade girls basketball won their first game of Regionals play at Lincoln on Saturday. Kenzie lead the way with 10, Cally had 9, Ava had 9 and Audrie had 2.
The Raiders will host Farmington tonight for a 6:00 PM game.

The Lady Raiders move on in the second round of the 7th grade regional at Lincoln Junior High. The girls play Tri Valley at 4:30. Good luck, ladies!
The Lady Raiders will compete tomorrow in their Regional game. They will play at 10:00 AM against Maroa Forsythe. The game will be played at Lincoln Jr. High. Good luck Lady Raiders!
Another night, another win for the middle school boys basketball teams! The Raiders swept a pair against the Rankin Rebels on Thursday night with the 7th grade game ending in dramatic fashion. Up 2 with 8 seconds to go, Joe Proehl sunk 2 huge free throws to put the Raiders up 4 and put the game on ice for the 40-37 win! Max Dierker and Blake Molitor both put up double digits for the Raiders, with Dierker leading the way with 14 points, and Molitor adding 12. Zayne Arthalony also added 12 points in his season debut for the victors!
In 8th grade action, the boys avenged a 20 point loss last season with a total team effort and put down the Rebels 40-27! 7 different Raiders were in the scoring column, with Malachi Carroll leading the charge with -0 and Josh Dawe dropping in 8. Calvin Young and Ryan Terrill also contributed 6 points to the winning effort! The Raiders trademark defense was stout, keeping Rankin to single digits in each quarter!
With the wins the Raiders move to 5-2 on the season as they look to continue their strong play against Farmington on Tuesday!
