
MCMS/Delavan 7th grade Lady Raiders Girls Basketball won their home opener over Tremont 37-12. Kenzie Doty paced the Raiders with 21 points, Peyton Bernshausen had 14 and Nora Jockisch had 2 points to improve to a 3-0 record.
The 8th grade MC/D Lady Raiders defeated Tremont last night 35-15. The Raiders started out slow in in the first quarter, but picked it up the pace with balanced scoring in the second and fourth quarters. Leading the way was Cally DeSutter with 10. Following close behind with 8 points each were Ava Warner and Kara Lowry. Jaylyn Diekhoff hit 6 points to help lead the way and Willow Gomez and Kenzie Doty both added 2 points to bring home the win. Proud of our Lady Raiders!


The cross country team had another outstanding showing at the Delavan Invite over the weekend. Max Dierker had another great run. Jaina Butler, Connor Coile, and Sam Dierker were all in the 14 minute 2 mile range, while Isabelle Friedrich and Nora Dierker both had PRs in the 15s. The team will compete in their sectional on Friday, hosted by Normal Metcalf.


Our Lady Raiders will host Tremont tonight. Game time is 5:30 PM.

Raider families!!! We held our parent information meeting for children joining the wrestling club. There were a lot of families that were able to attend, and we are excited for the wrestling season!
If you missed the meeting and still want to join, please reach out before next Friday!
There are extra packets available for those still interested. If you are unsure, you can try it out and see how it goes! If your child joins the Midwest Central Youth Wrestling Club, you are not required to sign up for tournaments. Your child can participate in practices without signing up for tournaments.


Monday, October 2 is World Day of Bullying Prevention.
As a school we will be making a human sign that says "BE KIND".

MCMS/Delavan 7th girls basketball team were victorious at DeeMack last night 22-13, Peyton Bernshausen had 10 points, Julia Rasmussen had 6, Charlie Green 2, Kenzie Doty 2 and Nora Jockisch with 2. Next game is at home Monday at 5:30 versus Tremont.
The 8th grade Lady Raiders won big over the DeeMack Chiefs last night 45-31. Leading the way was Cally DeSutter with 18 points. Kenzie Doty put up 9 hard fought shots, while Kara Lowry and Ava Worner helped with scoring. Leading rebounder was Kenzie Doty with 11. Willow Gomez and Leyla Danner both hit a shot to rally the Lady Raiders. A highlight in the game was Cally hitting a half court buzzer beater at the end of the 3rd quarter. Great game ladies!


The cross country team had a great performance yesterday at the Limestone invitational, with most runners making new PRs.
The Raiders will wrap up their regular season tomorrow at the Delavan Dare Classic.

The 8th Grade Lady Raiders basketball team opened their season off with a big a big win against Limestone Walters. Cally DeSutter drilled 23 points to lead the way. Jaylyn Diekhoff contributed 6, Kenzie Doty added 5, and Willow Gomez hit a jumper for 2. Ava Warner and Kara Lowry both scoring for a win 42-18 .
7th Grade MCMS/Delavan Girls won 32-16 over Limestone Walters in their first game Tuesday Night. Julia R had 12 points, Peyton B had 12 points and Kenzie D added 8 points.
Come out loud Thursday for a game at DeeMack at 4:30. It's a great day to be a Lady Raider.
