One of the big projects at MCHS this summer was a weightroom renovation. We put the finishing touches on the weightroom and are excited to share it with everyone!
MCHS would like to thank Dr. Hellrigel and the Board of Education for investing in the vision of providing any MCHS student who is interested in strength and conditioning training a top-notch training facility to call home. This project wouldn't have been possible without our MC Booster club as they provided financial backing for many of the aspects of the new weightroom. Lastly, the summer maintenance crew had a huge part in this project, from moving stuff in and out, to repainting the back wall and beyond, this room would not look as good as it does without their hard work!
It's a great time to be a Raider, the future is bright!

A sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to Raider Nation and the Manito Police Department! The 3 individuals who allegedly broke into our school have been apprehended by the Manito Police Department.
We saw our community jump into immediate action, sharing our Facebook post. The swift action on your part allowed our local P.D. to very quickly get this unfortunate situation handled.
Midwest Central is RAIDER NATION PROUD! Because of this amazing community and our outstanding law enforcement we can provide a sense of security, peace, and justice to staff, students, and Raider Nation!

Raider Nation – We could use your help. Early this morning at 2:25 AM, 3 males broke into MCHS. They were in the building pilfering items in classrooms and can be seen here with backpacks they stole holding school and employee belongings. One of the backpacks belonged to a contractor doing work at the school. These individuals came through and exited the northeast corner of our back parking lot near Southmoor Ave on foot. They walked throughout the building till around 3:40 AM. They were seen leaving the back lot at 3:41 AM. We’re confident someone in the community knows who these individuals are and can help us solve this crime. If you have any information, please call the district office at 309.968.6868. You may remain anonymous.

2025 Raiders Wrestling Camps are in the books!
With a total of 80+ attendees over the past two weeks this was our biggest turnout ever!
Both camps were full of technique and fundamentals along with a lot of fun and team building. The future of the Midwest Central Wrestling family keeps growing!
Great job putting in the hard work athletes, we’ll see you when the season starts!

Today was the last day of cross country camp. Hill day is probably the roughest day they had. Proud of the effort you all put in the last 2 weeks. Keep up the good work. Topped it off with our stop at Casey’s.
