The Primary School students completed their PACER tests.
What is a PACER test??? Students embark on a rhythmic back-and-forth run, responding to each beep that signals the pace. As the test progresses, the intervals shorten, demanding more speed and stamina. This engaging challenge continues until the student reaches their peak lap score, painting a comprehensive picture of their aerobic capacity.

Once again it was a great day to be a MS XC Running Raider! 100% of our runners that ran today set personal bests for the season. Some beat their best time by minutes today. The weather was just right for running. I was truly amazed and proud on how well the team ran today. One parent thought I had a tear in my eye at end of the race. Could have been but I'm not saying either way. Below are their places, times, and how much their time today beat their best for the year so far. Next Friday the team travels to Bloomington to compete in their IESA Sectionals.

To wrap up their town unit, first grade traveled to The Lodge of Manito to listen to the residents speak about their community long ago. They learned about the town's old movie theater, restaurants, and even what school was like. At the end, they were able to hand out cards and converse with the residents.
