The Mason County Health Department purchased custom Raiders masks for students and staff. THANK YOU MCHD!!!!!

Hello Raiders,
Midwest Central will again be offering a flu shot clinic this fall. For your convenience, Primary School students will have the necessary papers sent home to fill out. Middle School students can pick up the packet at the nurses office and High School students can pick up the packet at the main office counter. If you have questions, please contact our nurses at either the Primary School or High School, and they'll be happy to assist you.
Very Best,
Todd Hellrigel, Ed.D.

Ms. Dougherty and Ms. Vaughn’s class went for a cookie hunt and found cookies with numbers on them so we could practice counting!

Reminder - Tomorrow is a 1/2 day for students. Dismissal times are: 11:20 MS dismissal, 11:30 HS dismissal, and 11:40 PS dismissal.

Hello Raiders,
This is a reminder that we need to have health records for all students (remote and in-person) by October 15th. As of today we will have to exclude students from school beginning October 16th if we do not have the appropriate records. This is a state law we have to comply with. If you have questions or need to speak with someone, please call your student's school and ask to speak to the nurse.

Middle School 309.352.2300
High School 309.968.6766
Best Regards,
Todd Hellrigel, Ed.D.

The Manito-Forest City Rotary Club purchased 420 water bottles for MCPS. The need for water bottles is largely due to limitations for drinking fountains because of COVID. The money came from Project Kids that the rotary club sponsors through donations from the community and the club.
Thanks you Rotary Club, we really appreciate this kind gesture!

Mr. Waibel’s class has been working hard on learning the ‘parts of a book’ like who the author and who the illustrator is and our kids got to make their own books today! They had a lot of fun and I sure do see a lot of future writers!

The Mason County Health Department will be at all 3 schools on October 22nd for a flu shot clinic. This will be for students and staff. More details about the clinics will be available closer to the date.

Revised Lunch Menu

Officer Cowzer stoped by to say hi to some primary school students. They were so excited to see him!

On this night 19 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 9:40 AM Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. Consider taking a moment of silence today to remember and honor the lives we lost 19 years ago.

Ms. Dougherty and Ms. Vaughn’s class read “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” and put their letters on the coconut tree.

Students at the Primary School are #RaiderStrong and working toward cookies and milk this month with our PBIS theme of We Are Strong!
