We’re excited to welcome Joli Pierson, our new Ag in the Classroom Coordinator! She recently visited Mrs. Charlton’s kindergarten class to share a fun and interactive lesson about the different types of boots farmers wear—and why they wear them. From mud boots to work boots, students learned how each plays an important role on the farm. The class had a great time and loved the hands-on learning experience. We look forward to more engaging lessons like this!

These 3 students from Mrs. Gough's class are the winners of a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows for January's Reading Challenge. They needed to read 18 days at home out of 26 opportunities in order to earn the incentive. These students didn't stop once they hit 18 days....they kept going and set the bar high for themselves! Way to go, Raiders!

Students from Mrs. Gough’s class earned rewards for their hard work and growth on the STAR assessments. The top three students who showed the greatest improvement in ELA STAR testing earned Roasted, and the top two students with the greatest improvement in Math STAR testing earned a snack of their choice.

Thank you to the Dietz Foundation for their generous donation of Graphic Novel Adventure Jr. books from Van Ryder Games to Midwest Central Primary School!

Every 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade student received a book, along with each 1st- and 2nd-grade classroom, our speech therapist, and our reading interventionist. These exciting books will spark imagination, build literacy skills, and encourage a love of reading across our school.

Raider Nation—Save the Date!

The Midwest Central Athletic Booster Club is hosting its 20th Annual Booster Banquet on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Forman Center in Manito!

This event is the biggest fundraiser of the year, with 100% of proceeds going directly back to MC athletic programs. Thanks to our amazing community, Boosters donated over $50,000 last year to support our student-athletes!

They are currently seeking business sponsors and donations (items, gift certificates, or monetary support) for the live and silent auctions. Every contribution helps our Raiders compete and succeed!
