Midwest Central will present "Shrek the Musical" on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 23-25 at 7 p.m., at the Forman Center in Manito. Shrek and his pal Donkey are on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona when all sorts of challenges arise. This story is suitable for adults as well as children. Tickets are sold at the door each night.

Mrs. Herrin's second grade reading group earned all of their brownie points for positive behavior and hard work! They celebrated by watching Shrek and having brownies and Doritos (per student request!) Mrs. Herrin is so proud of them!
