Lunch: Cheese Pizza
· History League will be holding a meeting today during the first 10 minutes of both study halls! At this meeting, we will reveal our calendar for the semester and give information about our first activity: Trivia Night! Students will also get to pick out a free History League pin, as long as they have paid their $3 dues.
· Congratulations to the Midwest Central FFA Forestry Team! The team competed in the Section 12 Forestry Contest yesterday at the Spoon River Valley Arboretum and placed 4th overall.
· Congratulations also to Senior Abby Strong, who competed in her very first FFA contest and placed 2nd overall individually. Great job, Abby and the entire Forestry Team!
· FCCLA will have it’s first meeting on September 15, 2026 during 5B in the library. You may bring your lunch with you to the meeting. We will be signing up for the Pumpkin Patch and the Fall Leadership Conference. We also will be electing officers and deciding on T-shirts. If you are interested in being an officer for FCCLA please see Mrs. Palmer during 5B on Friday, September 11, 2026.
· Student Activities is hosting a fall spirit week September 28th through October 2nd! The dress up days will be, Pajamas, Sweater Weather, Hat Day, Crazy Socks, and Anything but a Backpack! There will also be games for everyone to enjoy during your study hall in the gym!
· We are looking for a group of students who may be interested in being our mascot Rowdie the Raider during home boys and girls basketball games this year.
