  • Attention Raiders! If you are interested in attending the Tazewell Teen Conference in January, please see Mrs. Harbourn for a registration form. They are due by December 6th.

  • Detention tonight with Ms. Brodbeck

  • Juniors and Seniors- if you are interested in touring OSF College of Nursing, please see Mrs. Harbourn about the December 13th fieldtrip.

  • Student Council will be having Movie Buyout for those students who don't have to take finals in their 6th 7th and 8th hours. The movies this year will be How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Santa Clause, and Home Alone. It is $1 PER hour. You can buyout on December 13th and 16th during your lunch hour.

  • There will be a junior class meeting in the library during 5B.

  • Join History League for a Holiday Trivia Party on December 11th, from 3-4:30pm. All students are welcome to attend. Compete with a team to answer trivia questions on history categories such as "holidays", "this day in history", "pop culture", "music", and "MCHS staff facts" for candy and gift card prizes! Snacks will be provided, and students may bring potluck items. 

  • There is a Student Council Meeting 5A/5B today in Room 10.

  • Join the Winter Reading Challenge in the library to earn prizes through February 28. See Miss Shaffer for more information. 

  • Free day forms for perfect attendance in the month of November have been handed out. If you did not receive one and feel you should, see Jen in the office

  • Spanish Club members: After school on Friday, December 13th, we'll be headed to the primary school to help organize Snowbuddy gifts, and then we'll go to La Fiesta in Pekin for dinner. If you would like to join us, permission slips are on our bulletin board.

  • Attention all science club members! This is a reminder that your Fannie Mae chocolate money orders are due back to Mr. Servis today                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   National Honor Society is hosting a SOCK DRIVE to benefit SNOW BUDDIES, December 11-13 during 5A and 5B. Purchase quality new socks and donate them to earn homecoming points for your class. The class that collects the most socks will also win the traveling Sock Monkey Trophy!
