Everyone who auditioned for "The Drowsy Chaperone" will have a part in the musical, either as a featured character or in the ensemble. We will post the cast assignments on Friday afternoon. Please pick up a rehearsal calendar for the first two weeks of September. They are on the office window ledge. The first rehearsal for speaking parts is Tuesday, September 3, from 3-530, for speaking parts. Please note the time change. The first rehearsal for ALL will be next Wednesday, September 4, at 3. On Thursday, the rehearsal is at 6 for Leads. There will be a Parent Meeting on Friday, September 6, at 6:00 in the music room. Great job, everyone. We look forward to working with you!!
Picture day is Friday, September 6th for all students and staff. Order forms are available on the office ledge.
History League will have its first meeting, open to all interested students, on Wednesday, September 4th, during the first 10 minutes of 5B in Ms. Rousseau's room. We will play a game, take nominations for History League officers and discuss ideas for this year's activities and field trips! Bring your $2 dues to the first or second meeting to join officially.
We will be doing free half days again this year. For those that don’t know, if you have 100% perfect attendance in the months of September, October, November, January, February and March, you will receive a free ½ day off school for each month. Please see Jen in the office with any questions.
Any student that would like to help with the Rotary Club's Dime Toss at the Popcorn Festival, please sign up on the yellow bulletin board outside room 18. Money raised from the dime toss goes directly to MCHS seniors in the form of a $500 scholarship so helping out with the Dime Toss is a great way to win that scholarship!
Students who are interested in ICC’s AG Showcase Field Trip, please see Mrs. Harbourn by September 5th.
Sophomores - The concessions sign-up sheet for home volleyball games is next to room #7. Please sign-up!
Any Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior interested in being on Student Council may apply for the Student At – Large positions. Applications are on the bulletin board in the horseshoe hallway, or on the door of Room 10. All applications are due back to Miss Sauder (Room 10) today
