Book Club’s next book is Inheritance Games, a mystery book about a girl whose life changes after a billionaire she has no connection to dies and she inherits his entire fortune. Books are available for anyone interested in the library.
Lady Raiders softball put on an exciting game against Knoxville last night, ending in a close loss for the Raiders in the 8th inning, 2-1. Izzy Passmore had 24 strikeouts and an RBI, allowing Karsyn Skaggs to score the only run of the game. Karsyn set the tone for lineup, going 2 for 4 at the plate. The Lady Raiders hit the road tonight to take on Delavan. Good luck, Raiders!
Student council will be hosting an easter egg hunt on Friday March 22nd. If you would like to participate you can during your study hall.
Attention all Science Club members. There will be a brief meeting today to discuss park cleanups and Spring trip.
History League will be hosting a Board Game Day and Potluck tonight in room 9, from 3-5pm. All students are welcome to attend, not just History League Members! Come play board games like The Oregon Trail, The Timeline Challenge, and others about the Civil War, World War 2, and the Space Race! Feel free to bring food and drinks to share. Members should check Google Classroom to confirm their attendance and potluck food.
Lifeguard applications for the Manito Pool are available in the office. You only need to be 15 to apply. Applications are due no later than April 20th to the office. The Park District would love to have returning guards back, too!
