Today’s Lunch: General Tso’s Chicken
- Book Club will meet today during 5A&B to discuss Scythe by Neal Shusterman. Students can grab their lunch at 5A and bring it to the library. If you are in History League, go to the meeting and join us when your meeting is over.
- Musical rehearsal tonight is at the Forman Center at 6-9 for all cast members. There will be a costume check so please bring all clothing, shoes, socks and accessories.
- Tomorrow, Saturday, October 7 is a work day at 9 a.m. for painting, costuming and crafting for students and parents. Please wear old clothes.
- Dinner theater tickets are still available and may be purchased at the high school office. The cost is $30 per ticket and checks should be made payable to Midwest Central High School.
- Attention Art Club Members. There will be an Art Club Meeting on Wednesday during 5B. If this is your lunch hour, you can bring your lunch to the art room for the meeting.
- Freshmen and Sophomores: if you come to the library on a pass during study hall, you will no longer be allowed to use your cell phone. It must be put away before coming to the library. If cell phones are out, you will go back to study hall.
- Just a reminder to all baseball players that cheesecake orders need to be turned in today
- Any student who would like to have a Veteran family member invited to the Veterans Day Breakfast, please fill out the Google Form in your Class's Google Classroom ASAP or get a name and address to Ms. Rousseau. It will be held on Friday, November 10th.
- There will be a History League meeting in Ms. Rousseau's room during 5A today. We will finish collecting dues, assign speeches and set-up roles for the Veteran's Day breakfast, and choose our student leaders!
- Spanish Club members: We'll be having a meeting on Tuesday, October 10th during both 5A and 5B. Come when you normally have study hall. If you haven't paid your $2 dues already, bring them to the meeting.
- Picture retakes will be October 12th. You can pick up an order form in the office or order online at hrimaging.com
- State of Illinois law mandates every Freshman and new student must have a current health physical by October 15; all Senior students are required to have a meningitis vaccine, by October 15th. Please turn these papers into the Main office, or to Nurse Denise.
